Lo que puedes hacer con tus datos
Acceso y portabilidad
Solicita una exportación de tus datos en cualquier momento. El contenido de tu bóveda es tuyo, y como está cifrado en el cliente, solo tú puedes descifrarlo.
Rectificación
Mantén tu perfil y tus registros precisos. Actualiza tu información siempre que cambie.
Supresión
Solicita la eliminación de tu cuenta y tus datos. La solicitud queda registrada y se mantiene durante un período de gracia en el que puedes cancelarla. La destrucción final de los registros de la cuenta la realiza nuestro equipo, no un proceso automático, porque no se puede deshacer.
Consentimiento y transparencia
Consentimiento granular y revocable, con una cronología de lo que has aceptado y por qué se revocó, registrada en el registro de auditoría encadenado mediante hashes.

RGPD
El acceso, la rectificación y la portabilidad están integrados en el producto, y la supresión se gestiona como una solicitud registrada. Estamos diseñados conforme al RGPD; ninguna autoridad de control ni auditor nos ha certificado frente a él.
Ley DPDP de la India
Diseñado conforme a la Ley de Protección de Datos Personales Digitales de la India (DPDP): limitación de la finalidad, consentimiento registrado con historial de revocación, y flujos de solicitud del titular de los datos. No existe ningún esquema de certificación que lo acredite.
Minimización de datos
Recopilamos lo mínimo necesario para operar. El contenido de tu bóveda se cifra en tu dispositivo antes de llegar a nosotros; los datos de contacto de tu cuenta y de tus beneficiarios no, porque el servicio debe poder contactar a esas personas.
Lo que no hemos certificado
No se ha realizado ninguna auditoría ni certificación por parte de terceros. No existe informe SOC 2, ni certificado ISO 27001, ni una prueba de penetración encargada. Cuando se realice alguna, se publicará aquí.

What LifeWyn is, in regulatory terms
Being clear about what LifeWyn is not saves everyone time.
- Not a bank, NBFC or payment institution. LifeWyn never holds, moves or has custody of your funds. Your bank continues to hold your deposits.
- Not a broker or investment adviser. LifeWyn stores records about your investments. It does not hold them, advise on them, or transact in them.
- Not an insurer. LifeWyn stores policy details and the documents a claim will need. It has no role in the claim itself.
- Not a will service or law firm. LifeWyn does not draft wills, give legal advice, or change who legally inherits anything.
- Not a probate or succession authority. Whether an institution accepts a claim is that institution's decision under its own rules and the law.
LifeWyn is a software service that stores encrypted records and releases them under conditions its users define. That is the whole of it, and it is why financial-sector licensing does not apply to us.
LifeWyn is operated by LifeWyn Global Private Limited, registered in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data we hold.
Where your data is stored
- Account and billing data: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Mumbai (ap-mumbai-1).
- Encrypted vault contents: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Mumbai (ap-mumbai-1).
- Backups: same region, rolling 30-day retention.
Wherever data is stored, your vault contents are encrypted before they reach us, so we hold ciphertext rather than your records regardless of the hosting region.
Who processes data on our behalf
The sub-processor list below is being finalised; each row will be confirmed or removed once our vendor selection is final.

Every sub-processor is bound by contract. None of them can read vault contents, because none of them ever receives a key.
Security standards and certifications
Our technical controls are described in full on the security page. In summary: client-side encryption using XChaCha20-Poly1305 applied before upload, threshold cryptography so no single party holds a working key, no server-side decryption of vault contents at any point, hash-chained internal audit logging, and restricted, logged internal access.
LifeWyn does not yet hold a formal security certification. There is no SOC 2 report, no ISO 27001 certificate, and no commissioned penetration test. Our first independent security review is scheduled for Q4 2026, and the report will be published here in full, including anything it finds.
Law enforcement and legal requests
We comply with valid legal orders from competent authorities. What matters is understanding what compliance can actually produce.
What we can hand over: your account details — name, email, phone, country — billing records, and operational logs showing when the Service was accessed.
What this cannot include: plaintext content from your vault. Your vault is encrypted before it reaches us, so we hold ciphertext, not your records — we can produce ciphertext; we cannot produce a working key, because none exists on any system we control. This is a description of what is technically possible, not a refusal to cooperate.
We intend to publish an annual transparency report stating how many legal requests we received and how many we fulfilled. No report has been published yet.
