LifeWyn
Para quién es LifeWyn

You are the only person who knows where any of it is

Every account, policy and password you've gathered over the years, in one encrypted vault — with clear rules for who reaches what, and when.

Nobody sets out to build a life that only one person can navigate. It happens by accumulation. A salary account, then a second one when you changed jobs. A demat account opened during a bull run. A policy bought because someone called. A crypto wallet from 2021 whose seed phrase is on paper in a drawer.

Each one made sense alone. Together, they form a map that exists in exactly one place. Digital legacy planning for individuals is simply the work of getting that map out of your head and into a form someone else could actually use.

How it happened

Ten years of ordinary decisions

You did not skip a step, and there is nothing to feel bad about. The only unusual thing would have been writing it all down as you went, and almost nobody does.

The awkward part is what it means practically: if you were unreachable for a month, nobody could pay your EMI, claim your policy, or even tell you had one.

The list only exists in your head

Not written down anywhere, because writing it down somewhere findable has always felt like the riskier option. So it stays where only you can reach it.

Nothing announces itself

Loans reach your family within weeks. A fixed deposit that keeps auto-renewing, a policy whose agent moved cities, an old folio — none of those send anyone a letter.

What you can do in one evening

The ten that matter most

Not everything. Just the ten nobody else could reconstruct. Most people finish this list in under an hour.

  1. Your salary account, and the branch that actually handles it

  2. The fixed deposit that keeps renewing quietly

  3. Your term policy and its number

  4. The demat account, and the folios inside it

  5. Your PPF or EPF, with the UAN or account number

  6. The locker, its branch, and where the key physically sits

  7. The crypto seed phrase, and how to use it

  8. Your PAN and Aadhaar, and where the originals are

  9. The loan, and the date its EMI goes out

  10. The one person who should be told first

What the vault does with it

Digital asset planning for individuals, without handing anyone everything

Every record carries its own instructions

An account number on its own is homework. Attach the branch, the documents, and the note explaining what it is for, so each record explains itself without anyone having to interpret it.

See everything the vault holds

Each person opens only their own part

Your sibling can hold the financial map while your accountant sees only the tax files. There is no mode in which one person receives everything, which is what makes personal digital legacy different from simply leaving a password behind.

How this differs from a password manager

Nothing opens on silence alone

A missed check-in does nothing. Miss a few and LifeWyn messages you, then emails, then asks the contacts you chose. A release also needs verified documents and an identity check, and you can stop it at any stage.

See how a handover runs

If you live alone

You do not need a family to need this

If you are unmarried, or living alone, or far from your parents, this matters more rather than less. There is no spouse who half-knows where things are. Whoever eventually handles your affairs — a sibling, a friend, a parent — will start from nothing.

You can name anyone as a recipient. It does not have to be family, and it does not have to be one person.

LifeWyn is not a will and not a legal document. It does not change who inherits anything. It makes sure the people handling your affairs can find what there is to handle.

Before anything opens

Nobody sees anything until you say so

The people you name are told they have been named, so nothing arrives as a shock. They see nothing else. Not a list, not a count, not a hint.

Access opens only after the rules you set are met and verified, and you can change or cancel any of it, any day, without telling anyone. Your vault is encrypted on your own device before it uploads, which means we cannot read it either.

Questions

Asked and answered

How do I protect my digital assets?
Start by listing what exists, because you cannot protect what nobody can find. Then decide who should reach each item and under what proof. In LifeWyn every record is encrypted on your own device before it uploads, so what sits on the servers is unreadable to us, to a court, and to anyone who breaches them. The key is derived from your passphrase and split into shares held separately, which means no single party holds a working copy.
How do I plan my digital legacy if I am starting from nothing?
Write down ten things first: your salary account and its branch, the fixed deposit that keeps renewing, your term policy number, the demat account, your PPF or EPF, the locker and where its key really is, the crypto seed phrase, your PAN and Aadhaar, the loan and its EMI date, and the person who should be told first. Most people finish that list in under an hour. Everything else can follow on a Sunday, a few records at a time.
Do I need a family for this to be worth doing?
No, and if you live alone it matters more rather than less. There is no spouse who half-knows where things are. Whoever eventually handles your affairs, whether a sibling, a friend or a parent, will start from nothing. You can name anyone as a recipient. It does not have to be family, and it does not have to be one person.
Will the people I name see anything before something happens?
They are told they have been named, so nothing arrives as a shock later. They see nothing else. Not a list, not a count, not a category, not a hint of what exists. Access opens only after the rules you set are met and verified, and you can change or cancel any of it, any day, without telling anyone.

Start with the ten things only you know

Most people finish that first pass in one evening. The rest can wait for a Sunday, and nothing has to be complete to be useful.
