Zugang & Übertragbarkeit
Fordern Sie jederzeit einen Export Ihrer Daten an. Ihre Tresor-Inhalte gehören Ihnen – und weil sie clientseitig verschlüsselt sind, können nur Sie sie entschlüsseln.
Berichtigung
Halten Sie Ihr Profil und Ihre Daten korrekt. Aktualisieren Sie Ihre Angaben, wann immer sie sich ändern.
Löschung
Beantragen Sie die Löschung Ihres Kontos und Ihrer Daten. Der Antrag wird erfasst und für eine Karenzzeit vorgehalten, in der Sie ihn widerrufen können. Die endgültige Vernichtung der Kontodaten erfolgt durch unser Team und nicht automatisiert, da sie nicht rückgängig gemacht werden kann.
Einwilligung & Transparenz
Granulare, widerrufbare Einwilligung mit einer Zeitleiste dessen, wozu Sie zugestimmt haben und warum sie widerrufen wurde, erfasst im Hash-verketteten Audit-Trail.

DSGVO
Auskunft, Berichtigung und Datenübertragbarkeit sind fest in das Produkt integriert, und die Löschung wird als erfasster Antrag bearbeitet. Wir sind auf die DSGVO ausgelegt; keine Aufsichtsbehörde und kein Prüfer hat uns diesbezüglich zertifiziert.
Indischer DPDP Act
Ausgelegt auf Indiens Digital Personal Data Protection Act: Zweckbindung, dokumentierte Einwilligung mit Widerrufsverlauf und Anfrageprozesse für betroffene Personen (Data Principals). Es gibt kein Zertifizierungsschema, das dies bestätigen würde.
Datenminimierung
Wir erfassen nur das Minimum, das für den Betrieb notwendig ist. Ihre Tresorinhalte werden auf Ihrem Gerät verschlüsselt, bevor sie uns erreichen; Ihre Konto- und die Kontaktdaten Ihrer Nominierten hingegen nicht, da der Dienst diese Personen erreichen können muss.
Was wir nicht zertifiziert haben
Es hat weder ein Audit noch eine Zertifizierung durch Dritte stattgefunden. Es gibt keinen SOC-2-Bericht, kein ISO-27001-Zertifikat und keinen beauftragten Penetrationstest. Sobald das der Fall ist, wird es hier veröffentlicht.

What LifeWyn is, in regulatory terms
Being clear about what LifeWyn is not saves everyone time.
- Not a bank, NBFC or payment institution. LifeWyn never holds, moves or has custody of your funds. Your bank continues to hold your deposits.
- Not a broker or investment adviser. LifeWyn stores records about your investments. It does not hold them, advise on them, or transact in them.
- Not an insurer. LifeWyn stores policy details and the documents a claim will need. It has no role in the claim itself.
- Not a will service or law firm. LifeWyn does not draft wills, give legal advice, or change who legally inherits anything.
- Not a probate or succession authority. Whether an institution accepts a claim is that institution's decision under its own rules and the law.
LifeWyn is a software service that stores encrypted records and releases them under conditions its users define. That is the whole of it, and it is why financial-sector licensing does not apply to us.
LifeWyn is operated by LifeWyn Global Private Limited, registered in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data we hold.
Where your data is stored
- Account and billing data: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Mumbai (ap-mumbai-1).
- Encrypted vault contents: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Mumbai (ap-mumbai-1).
- Backups: same region, rolling 30-day retention.
Wherever data is stored, your vault contents are encrypted before they reach us, so we hold ciphertext rather than your records regardless of the hosting region.
Who processes data on our behalf
The sub-processor list below is being finalised; each row will be confirmed or removed once our vendor selection is final.

Every sub-processor is bound by contract. None of them can read vault contents, because none of them ever receives a key.
Security standards and certifications
Our technical controls are described in full on the security page. In summary: client-side encryption using XChaCha20-Poly1305 applied before upload, threshold cryptography so no single party holds a working key, no server-side decryption of vault contents at any point, hash-chained internal audit logging, and restricted, logged internal access.
LifeWyn does not yet hold a formal security certification. There is no SOC 2 report, no ISO 27001 certificate, and no commissioned penetration test. Our first independent security review is scheduled for Q4 2026, and the report will be published here in full, including anything it finds.
Law enforcement and legal requests
We comply with valid legal orders from competent authorities. What matters is understanding what compliance can actually produce.
What we can hand over: your account details — name, email, phone, country — billing records, and operational logs showing when the Service was accessed.
What this cannot include: plaintext content from your vault. Your vault is encrypted before it reaches us, so we hold ciphertext, not your records — we can produce ciphertext; we cannot produce a working key, because none exists on any system we control. This is a description of what is technically possible, not a refusal to cooperate.
We intend to publish an annual transparency report stating how many legal requests we received and how many we fulfilled. No report has been published yet.
