Help families protect what matters

We're a small team building the most trustworthy way to pass on a digital life — encrypted end to end, released only to the right people at the right time.

How we work

What we care about

Security is the product
We hold ourselves to zero-knowledge by design. If a decision weakens a user's privacy, it doesn't ship.
We build for the hardest day
Our users trust us with what happens when they're gone. We design with that weight in mind.
Craft over shortcuts
Encryption, correctness and clarity are not negotiable. We'd rather do less, done properly.
Remote-first
We work asynchronously across time zones and optimise for deep focus, not busywork.

Before you write

What we're honest about

The same standard we hold on the rest of this site. You should know what you would be joining.

Where we actually are

  • Founded in 2025, fewer than ten people. Registered in Bengaluru as LifeWyn Global Private Limited. You would be an early hire, with the ownership and the uncertainty that comes with that.
  • The hard problems are real. Threshold cryptography, a verification pipeline that has to fail closed, and an interface a grieving family can use on the worst week of their life. None of it is a wrapper around someone else's API.
  • We publish what we haven't done. Our Trust Center lists the certifications we do not hold and the gaps we have not closed. We would rather you read that before applying than discover it after.
  • We are pre-audit and pre-scale. No SOC 2, no ISO 27001, and our first independent security review is scheduled for Q4 2026. If you want a mature compliance function to plug into, it does not exist here yet — you would be building it.
  • There is no on-call rota yet. Our alerting pipeline runs but nothing pages anyone automatically. That is a real gap, it is on our list, and whoever joins next will probably help fix it.

No open roles right now

We're not actively hiring at the moment — but we're always glad to meet security engineers, mobile & full-stack developers, and product designers who care about this problem. Tell us what you'd want to build.

Introduce yourself

If you do write, this is what helps

We read everything that arrives. A short note with something specific in it gets a real reply faster than a résumé on its own.

  1. 1Something you built, and what was hard about it. A repo, a write-up, a shipped feature. We care more about one thing explained properly than a list of technologies.
  2. 2What you would want to work on here. Read the encryption architecture or the nominee experience and tell us what you would change. Disagreeing with us is a good opening.
  3. 3Where you are and how you work. We are remote-first with a Bengaluru registration, so time zone and working hours are worth mentioning up front.
  4. 4What you are looking for. Full-time, contract, part-time — say so. We would rather match honestly than discover a mismatch three conversations in.

Write to support@lifewyn.com with "Careers" in the subject, or use the contact form and pick Careers. If we are not hiring for what you do, we will say so rather than leaving you waiting.
