Digital legacy for advisers and institutions
LifeWyn for advisers, law firms, insurers and institutions — help your clients get their affairs in order with a platform that keeps their data private even from you. Enterprise options such as white-label branding are on our roadmap; talk to us about what your organisation needs.
Adviser & institution portals
Give financial advisers, law firms and institutions a governed portal to help clients prepare — without ever seeing decrypted client content.
Zero-knowledge, compliant
Client data is encrypted end-to-end. Meet duty-of-care and data-protection obligations with a hash-chained audit trail and granular consent.
Bereavement & claims workflow
Structured death-verification, nominee/executor journeys and claims handling with human-in-the-loop approval at every gate.
Consumer-duty reporting
Reporting built for regulated advice — evidence engagement and outcomes across your client book.
Operations center
An internal ops console for support, verification queues, RBAC, SLAs and a full customer-360 — running against the same secure backend.
White-label (on the roadmap)
Bring your brand. Dedicated deployment and white-label theming for your organisation are in development — talk to sales about timelines and early access.
Who offers this, and why
Three very different reasons to put a vault in front of your people
Business digital asset management usually means holding more. This means holding less, and it still solves the problem.
Employers
Group term cover already tells your employees you have thought about the worst case. It also creates a problem nobody addresses: when a claim happens, HR ends up helping a grieving family find documents. A vault means the family arrives with the papers already in hand — and it is one of the few benefits that needs no repeated engagement to be worth anything.
Banks and wealth platforms
Your customers hold assets with you and nine other institutions. A legacy vault is one of the few things you can offer that covers the nine you do not hold, which makes it unusually sticky — and it does so without you taking custody of a single additional record.
Insurers
Unclaimed policies are a real cost and a real reputational issue. A vault that stores the policy number alongside the documents a claim will need reduces both, because the most common reason a claim never arrives is that nobody knew the policy existed.
Founders and small companies
Business succession planning fails for the same reason family handovers do: the map lives in one head. Which bank holds the current account, who signs, where the incorporation papers sit, which vendor contract renews in March. Stored as records with a named successor, released only on verified conditions — a business continuity platform for the part that is really just knowledge.
The first question every buyer asks
What you can see, and what you cannot
The answer is unusual enough to state plainly, before anything else.
What your organisation receives
- Aggregate adoption — how many people activated
- Aggregate completion — how many finished a first pass
- A hash-chained audit trail of every governed access
- Records a client has explicitly granted, scoped to a matter
What nobody receives, including us
- The contents of any individual's vault
- Their account numbers, documents or messages
- A working key, at any point, including during a release
- Readable data in response to a legal order — only ciphertext exists
Questions
Asked and answered
Can our organisation see what our clients or employees store?
No, and neither can LifeWyn. Every vault is encrypted on the individual's own device, and a complete key never exists on any server. What your organisation receives is adoption and usage reporting in aggregate — how many people activated, how many completed a first pass — and nothing about what any individual stored. For most buyers this is the selling point rather than a limitation, because offering it creates no new data liability for you.
How does business continuity planning for founders work here?
A small company usually runs on one person's knowledge: which bank holds the current account, who signs, where the incorporation papers sit, which vendor contract renews in March, and what the registrar needs. That information can be stored as its own set of records with a named successor, a co-founder or a company secretary, released only after the conditions the founder configured are verified. It does not transfer ownership of the company — that is decided by the shareholding and the will.
Is white-label branding available?
Not yet. Dedicated deployment and white-label theming are in development, not shipped. We would rather say that plainly than sell you a roadmap item as a feature. If it matters to your timeline, talk to us about early access and we will tell you honestly where it stands.
What can you hand over if we receive a legal request about a client?
Account details, billing records and operational logs showing when the service was accessed. Not the contents of any vault in readable form, to anyone — because no complete key exists on a system LifeWyn controls. This is a description of what is technically possible rather than a refusal to cooperate, and it is set out in full on the compliance page.
