Which one is right for you
Four situations, four answers
You want to get the important things written down and nothing more — a salary account, a policy, a locker, a provident fund number, and one person who should be told first. It goes further than it sounds, and there is no pressure to move.
You want the full vault but would rather try it against your own life for a month or two before committing to a year. You can switch to yearly whenever.
Your life has more pieces than the Free limits hold — property in more than one place, several policies, a business, accounts in more than one country, or more people who each need a different part of it. This is also where the executor workflow lives, which matters if you have named a lawyer or an accountant.
You are setting this up once and want it to outlast your attention to it. You pay once and there is no renewal to miss — a real consideration for a plan meant to still be working in thirty years. The Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to it exactly as it does to the other paid plans.

Encryption is not a paid feature
Your vault is encrypted on your device before it reaches us on the Free plan exactly as it is on Premium. We hold ciphertext, not your records, and we haven't built a cheaper, weaker version of that.
Your vault is never deleted for not paying
If you cancel, or a payment fails, the account moves to the Free plan. Records beyond the Free limits become read-only and exportable. Nothing is destroyed.
You can export everything, any time, on any plan
In an open, documented format that you decrypt with your own passphrase — without us, and without our servers.
We will never sell your data
There is also almost nothing to sell, because the part that matters is encrypted.
